Pray For Us - Original

"Pray for Us" was an original I did shortly after my father passed away in July of 2022. He fought stage 4 bone cancer for nearly four years. I stood by his side & watched him take his last breath. This painting has so much depth to me, not just because of the emotional influence my fathers passing had on this painting, but how it also had to do with my objective view of our current world and all of it's cultural/social issues at hand. I allowed the massive size of this painting to consume me daily; a moment in time to allow me to throw my emotions and thoughts at the canvas. At the time, this was the biggest canvas painting I had ever worked on. This painting is done with spray paint and acrylic.
